About the event
About the venue:
My MN Farmer is an organic produce and livestock farm with tillable acres, 9 high tunnels, a greenhouse and lots of equipment that was used to run a 350 member csa, and wholesale accounts to local colleges and restaurants. The owners are seeking a beginning farmer to take over operations and are open to renting, buying or a long-term contract depending on what mutually works. They also have lots of livestock equipment for pork, chickens, beef, sheep, rabbits, and a flock of sheep they may be willing to pass on or have someone continue to raise on the farm.

About the event:
The Farmland Access Hub, Renewing the Countryside (RTC) and our partners are hosting a series of regional meet & greet events to provide learning opportunies about financial and technical support for beginning and transitioning farmers. These events are designed to introduce service providers, programs and resources that can aid beginning and retiring farmers (or exiting landowners), as well as allow for networking time between land-seeking farmers and landowners.
Attendees will gather at the farm for the learning session from 2–5 pm. Light refreshments will be provided by the St. Peter Food Co-op. At the conclusion of the event, participants may stick around for an optional farm tour or head to Montgomery Brewery for networking from 5-6 pm.
