Zach Binsfeld (Minneapolis, MN) is an organic vegetable farmer and fermented foods manufacturer (Off Type Sauce & Spice), focused on developing a cooperative ownership structure and equity sharing model with some partners who are currently seeking land. Zach joined the Twin Cities Community Agricultural Land Trust (TCALT) in the spring of 2026 to support the work of cultivating community-led initiatives to secure long term land access for space to grow food in the Twin Cities region, especially for BIPOC and low-income emerging farmers/gardeners. As a Veteran with low-income/working class origins himself, Zach is dedicated to building strategic alliances and solidarity among those from backgrounds who have been denied a fair chance at accessing land, equity, and a chance to grow.
