Cris is Director of the National Agricultural Land Network—a network American Farmland Trust created in 2020 to build the capacity of planners, farm and conservation organizations, land trusts and state and county agencies to help stem the loss of working farm and ranch land.. Cris is also AFT’s Senior Policy Advisor, helping to guide AFT’s policy and advocacy work around agricultural land protection, land access and farm transfer and succession.
