Valentine Cadieux is an artist and geographer who teaches community food and agriculture systems and environmental justice and sustainability at Hamline and with the Twin Cities Community Agricultural Land Trust and Commons Land initiative. Valentine focuses on repair of land relationships, and is the current director of Hamline’s Center for Justice and Law’s Environmental Justice and the Law program, rebuilding infrastructure for environmental relationships when they have been displaced and disrupted. Valentine and the Center have been co-hosting a year-long learning series for agricultural service providers on equitable farmland tenure (supported by SARE, the Agrarian Trust, and Commons Land -- please join us!).
