Yimmuaj Yang

Yimmuaj Yang is the Community Director at Groundswell Conservancy. She is a big advocate for equitable access to agricultural land and resources for small to mid-sized beginning and underserved farmers. She manages Groundswell's two community farms, provides technical assistance and creates access to USDA FSA and NRCS programs and state and local resources. She started the Lifting Hearts Therapy Garden for HMoob (Hmong) elders living with PTSD, dementia, and depression. She is creating a land ownership pipeline for socially disadvantaged farmers to become farmland owners through utilizing the land trust conservation easement tool.
